In the early '90s, Scorpion Zig Zag (a Baptist preacher's son) re-connected with his lost faith through prison ministries while serving a Federal stretch. During that point, he struggled using the idea that he couldn't possibly 'serve two masters'. As far as religious protocol went, he'd have to set down his Scorpion patch, turn his back on his club brothers and leave behind them if he would truly serve God. You know, the suit and tie gig will be required.

This was truly hurting his heart, because after over two decades along with his club brothers, the type of love and trust forged between members is a thing few citizens ever have the possiblity to witness, let alone experience of their lives. It's the kind of life-preserving love a father or mother has for his or her child. How could he desert the brothers he'd nevertheless be prepared to lay his life down for?
Then someone asked him “Are you sufficiently strong to be with things Christians should refrain from rather than participate?”

They have NA meetings twice each week (Narcotics Anonymous), Overcomers (Christian 12 step program), Wing-it (an evening when everyone brings a covered dish, then shares issues they have been blessed with or being affected by) and more activities.
